Hi Duchenne families,
If there’s one thing we’ve learned since entering the Duchenne community 3 years ago, it’s that none of us should have to walk this road alone.
We kindly invite you and your family to join us for The Mile for Muscles Awareness Walk & Family Fun on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield, Indiana.
This evening is about more than a walk. It’s about raising awareness, supporting one another, and reminding the world that Duchenne families are strong.
The Mile for Muscles Awareness Walk & Family Fun

Grand Park Sports Campus — Westfield, IN - Parking Lot J
Welcome: 5:00 PM
Accessible 1-mile awareness walk: 5:30 PM (1/4 mile option as well!)
Family Fun & Live Music: 7:00–9:00 PM
We’ll have Cornhole, face paint and temporary tattoos, a bounce house, raffle baskets, concessions, live music from Dave & Rae, and plenty of opportunities to connect with the community.
The walk is designed to be accessible for all abilities.
Whether your family has been part of the Duchenne community for years or you’re brand new to this journey, you are welcome here.
Come walk with us. Or simply come hang out and know that you’re surrounded by others who understand.

*Proceeds from this event will go to Best Day Ever Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that supports families living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
