This monthly program for families includes free dinner, games, resource sharing, an educational presentation and time to connect socially with other families living with Duchenne!
This month, every family who attends will also receive a free hydroponics growing system and a seed starter kit to grow vegetables and herbs inside with ease! We will talk about why a low-sodium diet matters for individuals living with Duchenne and everyone will leave with ideas for how to create low-sodium meals using some of the herbs grown with their new hydroponics growing system! Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, close friends… anyone living life with Duchenne with your family is welcome to participate!
NOTE - This event is being held at the Indianapolis Firefighters Union Hall in downtown Indianapolis. The Union Hall has a parking lot with free and easy parking right next to the building and the space we are using is accessible with plenty of room to move around!
